We are a nomadic art and ecology platform based in Panama. We facilitate space and time for encounters and collaborations with nature, culture, science and diverse communities.
Our vision is to reconnect people with nature through culture and to be part of the global movement that promotes a more harmonious and reciprocal relationship with the planet.
Our mission is to generate experiences and share knowledge that promote regeneration in individuals, communities and the environment. We also want to promote care for vulnerable ecosystems and their communities, and explore more ecological economies of mutual sustenance.
In practice, we design multidisciplinary programmes and events, both virtual and in different ecosystems: from residencies and short workshops to publications, podcasts and audiovisual projects.
We believe that sustainability is strengthened by networks that go beyond borders and disciplines, which is why we have experimented with various forms of collectivity. We work with individuals and organizations in Panama and around the world and value our partnerships and support systems which add up to nature~culture corridors of planetary solidarity.
In a country renowned for its biological diversity, which is under threat from large-scale development projects, mining investments and other forms of extraction, Estudio Nuboso has pioneered the use of art to bring environmental issues and scientific research to the general public. Given the challenges we face globally, solidarity and collective action are essential. Estudio Nuboso is committed to art and culture as a space conducive to practising different forms of planetary consciousness, as well as new ways of inhabiting the Earth.
